Kirstin started yoga with her babysitter at the age of four. As a competitive synchronized swimmer who competed nationally and internationally, she discovered that alignment-based yoga was a strong complement to dryland training. Initially a reluctant student, she has found that all roads lead to yoga. Kirstin began serious yoga study after connecting with the spiritual and meditative components of her practice.
Kirstin started Moksha practice in 2007 and returned to the Moksha sangha in 2013 as an Energy Exchanger. She moved to reception/front desk in 2014 and is excited to have joined Moksha’s teaching staff in 2015. She received her 200-hour yoga teacher certification in 2014. When she’s not at Moksha, Kirstin is bringing yoga to lacrosse players and older adults. Off the mat, Kirstin loves spending time with her family (Dan and Erik) and their two dogs (Astrid and Vegas).
