Danielle’s passion for yoga began 11 years ago when it unlocked a state of deep connection, vibrant energy, and bliss. Over the years, she cultivated her practice and teaching style through mentors from a wealth of yoga traditions, particularly Baptiste, Anusara, and Moksha. In 2011 she completed a 200 hour Vinyasa training in Halifax while studying for her PhD in English. Particularly passionate about anatomy and healthy movement, she trained 40 hours in hands-on assists, and 40 more with Noah Krol in the mechanics of asana. Believing that learning should never stop, in January of 2015 she began the 500 hour Moksha training. Danielle draws on her diverse experiences to create unique, powerful, challenging, and playful classes. She enjoys working closely with students to build an individualized yoga practice so that each one can enjoy the benefits of yoga: feeling comfortable and at home in your body; gradually building strength, stability, and mobility; and feeling alert, energized, and relaxed.
